Q: Do you charge a sitting fee?

A: Yes, the sitting fee to book a session varies for all sessions and it is deducted from your session total. Your remaining session fee is due the day of your session.

Q: WHAT DOES MY SITTING FEE INCLUDE?

A: Your sitting fee includes the photographer's time and artistic talent before, during and after your session. After session work includes the processing and editing of your images
including retouching of all presented images and a temporary online gallery for downloading your purchased digital files and for print ordering purposes. Each inclusive collection comes with a designated digital image file amount. Each image/pose in your download will have a color/ black and white image for print as well as for social media.

Q: HOW OLD SHOULD BABY BE FOR THE SESSION?

A: Newborn sessions are best held within 4-14 days.  This way we get the beautiful
sleepy, curly poses you see in my portfolio.

Q: What types of payment do you accept?

A:Cash, check or credit (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express)

Q: WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK?

A: In order to give my clients the most personalized experience I take a very limited amount of sessions per month (3-5) therefore typically book up 2-3 months in advance. Depending on when our scheduled babies arrive, I might have some last-minute session availability. If your baby is already here, please reach out to see if I can still accommodate you.

Q: HOW DOES THE BOOKING PROCESS AND RECEIVING THE PHOTOS HAPPEN?

A: Newborn sessions begin with a preparedness email and newborn questionnaire. This questionnaire allows me to understand what colors and poses you'd like incorporated into your newborn's first photography session. For family sessions, I'll capture special moments with each family member and the baby as well as the family all together. If siblings are involved, we usually take care of those photos first so that they can go and play during the rest of the session.

Q: HOW LONG DO NEWBORN SESSIONS TYPICALLY LAST?

A: 1-3 hours depending on the session type.  I allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing & mommy snuggles.  We keep sessions relaxed & low stress. We are on baby time :)

Q: WHAT IF MY BABY HAS AN ACCIDENT?

A: It's is completely natural for babies to use blankets or props as their own personal potty. Please don’t feel embarrassed, I reassure you it happens more times than you realize.

Q: WHAT kind of equipment do you use?

A: Canon 5D Mark IV // Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM // Canon EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM // Paul C. Buff DB800 // Westcott 7ft Parabolic Umbrella Diffuser.

Q: DO YOU CLEAN YOUR PROPS/BLANKETS?

A: Yes, baby’s safety is my number one priority. I wash all used props and blankets after each newborn session with non-scented fragrance free detergent.

Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?

A: Ten days from your appointment date. Your images will be uploaded to your temporary private online gallery for you to select and download your favorites. You'll then have the option to make further purchases for prints, canvases, and framed items. (3 - 5 Day rush editing is available, depending on availability. Additional cost)

Q: Can you photoshop my image?

A: All images in your gallery are retouched. Basic skin retouching and smoothing is included. If you have a special request such as tattoo removal, please let me know. Complex edits are only done at your request and may require additional fees depending on the request.
